In a significant move towards achieving the ambitious goal of having electric vehicles (EVs) account for 50 percent of all new vehicle sales in the United States by 2030, the White House has unveiled the Charge@Work program as part of its EV Acceleration Challenge. This innovative initiative is a collaboration between leading organizations, including the Electrification Coalition, CALSTART, Forth, Plug In America, and EVNoire.

The Charge@Work program aims to engage a broad spectrum of 50,000 employers, with an overarching target of deploying 100,000 charging stations at workplaces across the nation. As a key partner in this endeavor, EVNoire plays a pivotal role in contributing to this transformative initiative.

Recognizing the critical role of EV charging infrastructure in reducing national security risks associated with oil dependence for transportation, the Electrification Coalition's Executive Director, Ben Prochazka, emphasizes the program's significance. Workplace charging, in particular, offers a unique opportunity, making EVs more accessible, especially for those residing in multi-unit dwellings without home charging options.

EVNoire is excited to be part of this groundbreaking initiative and is committed to accelerating the adoption of light-, medium-, and heavy-duty EVs. Stay tuned for more updates as EVNoire continues to play a crucial role in shaping the future of sustainable transportation.
